What is an Access Point?

Access Points are safe locations designated by UPS that offer convenient parcel retrieval and drop-off for pre-paid labelled shipments. Although originally coined by UPS, the term “Access Point” is often used interchangeably with with terms such as “service point” or “drop off shop” to describe drop off locations offered by couriers across the industry. Our most popular drop off services include UPS and DPD.

Access Points are usually found in practical locations such as news agents, petrol stations and other local shops. Dropping your parcels off to these locations provides a good alternative to waiting around for a driver to collect! Not only can this save you time but some of the services we offer are discounted when you opt to drop off making your parcel delivery even cheaper!
