When you provide the dimensions of the goods you wish to transport, it’s essential to clarify whether these measurements include the pallet bases and/or packaging. Moreover, to facilitate a smooth collection process, we kindly request that you provide a reference for the driver to quote upon collection. When collecting from larger warehouses and organisations, a reference is often required by them to locate and load the correct goods.

Our service includes a complimentary first hour of waiting time by our Heavy Goods Vehicles (HGV) and first half hour for vans. This should accommodate most unforeseen delays at the collection point. Should there be additional waiting time, additional costs will be added per hour. This cost varies depending on vehicle size. This policy helps us maintain a fair and efficient service for all our customers.

In the event of a cancellation, please be aware that cancellation fees may apply if the pick-up is aborted. These fees can sometimes amount to almost as much as the original freight cost, depending on the distances involved. This is because the vehicle allocated to your consignment has been reserved exclusively for your service, impacting our ability to serve other customers. Please ensure you make adequate preparations to utilise your booked vehicle when it arrives.
